Hello, compared to you and many others you chat with, I'm computer illiterate. I have used Memento however and don't understand why I have to "allow" it to open since Windows does not recognize it when I'd never had the problem before. I tried to have it run with a previous version of Windows since I currently have the dreaded Vista to no avail. It's more just annoying than anything else since I'm used to just clicking the shortcut and getting at my notes. I've tried changing programs it opens with and it seems to default back to Internet Explorer although I'm sure I'd used it in the past without being connected to the internet. Any advice for this ignorant soul?

Uh...one thing I have noticed is that if I click on the desktop shortcut, it opens right away on the taskbar but, if I try to open from the "quick launch?" on the taskbar is when I get that message. I even put through as an exception on the programs blocked by firewall...

Can you explain what you are doing and what error message you get when this problem occurs?
So far you've just told me it kind of doesn't work - I need more information to work out what is going wrong.
