Bug: Doesn't save "Always on top" setting

First off, I love this app. I've been using it for 2 weeks now. I used 3Ms post-its for 3 months and thought it was lame. Was definitely glad to see this alternative.

My only issue (which is a biggie) is that the "always on top" setting doesn't seem hold its setting. I always leave it unchecked (so the notes stay in the background) but everytime I start/restart my computer the note stays on top. I go to the properties and the "always on top" is still unchecked. So I have to check the "always on top" and then uncheck it again. This fixes the problem until I restart again. Strange. This bug really gets in the way. Hopefully you can reproduce and maybe fix :)

My system (new 11/03):

Dell Laptop 5150

WinXP Pro

P4 3ghz

512 RAM

64 mb Nvidia FX 5200 to go video

Regards,

Frisxo

Just a follow up thought...

I use the 'show desktop' function in windows, the one that clears everything so you can see the desktop. I know it does wacky things with the 3M PostIt application. Wondering if it affects yours.

I assume you mean that you're going to the 'Options' dialog from the icon in the tray area at the bottom right? And not the context menu on a note itself?

I've checked the option, and it seems to work for me, so maybe I've fixed it by accident in my latest version (which is currently unreleased).

I turned off the 'on top' option, and opened a note. Then I quit Memento and restarted it. The note appeared on top of the other windows, but when I switched to other programs, their window appeared in front of the note as you would expect, so it's working on my latest development version.
