Well, I am looking at a number of things to add to Memento. Especially since I just got a PocketPC and realised there are lots of nice ways of integrating Memento with that, in particular the encryption facility I have in my development version.
The main challenge, as ever, is adding features without making the application huge or harder to use.
I'll see what I can do.
As for the prefs - you want them in a file so it's just easier to copy to other machines, or to backup..?
I have an API in my library for storing all those kind of preferences - it stores them in the Windows registry, but there's no particular reason why it couldn't also have an option to store them in a .ini or .rc style file instead. Which would mean there would be an option in Memento to control that choice, but apart from that, the Memento source code would be unchanged. Which is always nice.
