Ever since i moved to windows i have been trying to find a note taking application similar to Tomboy for Gnome. When that didn't work very well, i decided to implement a simple system with notepad(http://www.derangedhermit.com/archives/2007/02/27/the-poor-man-tomboy-for-windows/). Today i found your page & Memento (http://www.derangedhermit.com/archives/2007/03/02/memento-tomboy-for-windows/).
